This has very much the nostalgic feel of an olden day newspaper providing customers with magazines, tobacco and wide selection of local newspapers including many different local rags. The excellent pick n mix selection is a wonderful touch and a rarity in today’s convenience store.

Marvellous Maynews
In the shopping precinct is a shop which is every childs dream because it sells pocket money priced sweets. While the big people can browse the magazine racks or pick-up a daily newspaper, small people with pennies to spend can chose a sticky, elongated confectionary. The newsagent shop also sells greetings cards, tobacco and stationary. The staff are really nice, polite and friendly. Everyone pops in here rather than using the nearby supermarket because even if they have a queue it quickly gets served.
