poinless vandalism

Good day. Well i have seen it all now, i was walking through the scotch horn playing fields when as i got nearer the bottom just past the play area i noticed the bench and area around had been splatered with a can of white paint!! it was everywhere, i mean why do people do this? its mindless and pathetic and i even had to warn a lady walking her dog to avoind that part of the park. I love our parks but this is sheer vandalism.
