  • This was at St Francis' church, Ash Hayes Close
  • There was a raffle and the grand sum of more than £1,000 was raised for the branch
  • Chairman Jill Gilbert said that this would help to maintain the branch next year and enable them to continue contributing to vital research at Bristol University and to funding Parkinson's specialist nurses
  • The concert was attended by branch president Jesme Fox, Freemason Cliff Hannabuss, of the Freemasons and his wife June
  • The choir were accompanied by talented musicians
  • And a flautist gave a solo performance
  • Which was appreciated by the audience
  • The church was full to capacity for the concert
  • At the end of the concert Dr Fox thanked the choir, music director, accompanists and the soloist for an outstanding evening's entertainment
