But fear not Nailsea people as the High Street estate agent did not sponsor the £32 million new school nor is it paying for the demolition of the caretaker’s old cottage which is due to be knocked down within the next fortnight!
Westcoast is supporting the community showcase on Saturday, March 13.
More than 70 groups and organisations will be manning stalls at the annual Community Showcase hosted by the Mizzymead comprehensive from 10am to 2pm.
Self-help, charity, church and social groups as well as local business organisations will be setting out their wares.
Assistant head for specialised learning Trudy Jones said: “This is an opportunity for all community groups to get together and share what they can offer to our community, and has been very popular and well attended in the past.
“Exhibitors include private and charitable groups, children’s groups, support groups, church groups and the farmers market.
“Some people will be exhibiting, some fundraising and some offering goods and services.
"“There will also be entertainment for children of all ages.”
A Westcoast spokesman said: “We are delighted to support this community showcase.
“As a local family-run business, we understand and recognise the need for a strong, diverse community that offers opportunities to teach, learn and enjoy whether you are young or old.”

Nailsea Community Showcase
This was a terrific opportunity for our community to get together and show what they can offer. Feedback indicates that participants felt that it was a terrific networking opportunity - the results from which can only benefit our community and young people. At Nailsea School, we were able to demonstrate how wonderfully skilled our musicians are, were able to make links with all our community partners and offer them the opportunity to make the most of our facilities. The relationsips we have built with providers can only enhance the learning opportunities for our students.
Next year's event will be held on 12th March. A much more widespread marketing campaign will accompany this to increase the numbers of visitors. If you are interested in taking part next year, please let me know.
My sincere thanks to everyone that came.
