Nailsea is lucky enough to be part of the national Walking for Health initiative, supported by Natural England.

Health walks are led by trained volunteers and last about an hour. They are the ideal first step for anyone wanting to become active or for people with health conditions.

In Nailsea, a friendly group meets every Monday at various locations in and around the town.  The walkers set off at 11am - the next walk is on Monday 14 June, starting at Scotch Horn Leisure Centre.

The walks are free and a great way to socialise, have fun and build up fitness.  New walkers are very welcome, so why not come along and see for yourself?!

There are are also half hour walks for those who find that an hour is too long. Come along and try the shorter walk and then progress to the longer one when you fell able to. It is, as said above a very socialble way to get your exercise.
