I am preparing a new local history book for publication in 2011 about the second World War. This will detail the experiences of evacuees and many of those living in and around Nailsea. In researching the names on the war memorials I cannot find anything about R REID whose name appears on the memorial at Holy Trinity. Can anyone help?

Robert Reid has now been traced by Somerset Heritage Centre. He died when his ship the SULACO was sunk in 1940. Howevert the question arises where did he live.
R. Reid in the Nailsea electoral register for 1939-1940 (in force 15 October 1939-14 October 1940), document ref. Q\RER/17/32. This has a Robert Reid living with a Lilian Alice Reid at ‘The Woodlands’.
Does anyone know where The Woodlands is or was if so please contact me
