Spinning at Cadbury House
Enjoyed an excellent 45 minute spinning session at the Club at Cadbury House this morning. Our instructor was Debi who led us in a varied and imaginative session including sprints and hill climbs making for a challenging and enjoyable workout. Enjoyed Debi's choice of music especially The Killers. Looking forward to the next spinning class.

Double Tree by Hilton at Cadbury House
I can thoroughly recommend Double Tree by Hilton at Cadbury House - it is one of my favourite places.
I held my 60th birthday party at Cadbury for nearly 200 people on a Sunday evening in September 2008.
We had canapés and Martini cocktails and it was one of the best nights of my life.
Then months later I hosted a dinner party at the same venue for five of my favourite couples who were unable to make the original bash.
Thus The Dinner Party evolved and it is now an annual feature in my social calendar. Give or take a few people the guest list and the format of good food and drink is the same.
This year we decided to give the Marco Pierre White restaurant a twirl and because it is easier to have a sleepover we all decided to stay at the four-star hotel.
The table d'hôte menu offered three starters, three main meals with the choice of nine different side dishes and three puddings.
The cost was £14.50 for two courses and £19.50 for three courses with extra dishes charged at £3.
Guests can also choice from the a la carte menu but be warned if you go off piste so can the cost.
From the efficient and friendly receptionists to waiters and bar persons everyone was harming and helpful, the food was good, the drink (although hotel tariffs aren’t High Street pub) was great and the last person(s) to retire left the bar at 3am…
We all met for a full English breakfast served buffet style the next morning and with checkout not until noon there was the opportunity to use the other facilities on site like the spa and fitness club.
