The Nailsea, Backwell and District Diabetes Support group next information evening is in mid-March.
The group meet at the Tower House Medical Centre, Stock Way South, Nailsea, on Wednesday, March 13.
The evening starts at 7pm and will include a presentation by Cath Williams from the Bladder and Bowel Service.
Nailsea, Backwell and District Diabetes Support is a group of people who have diabetes or care for someone with the condition.
They meet approximately every two months at 7.30pm on the second Wednesday of the month.
This is normally in the Somerset Room of the Tower House Medical Centre in Nailsea.
There is disabled parking close by and a lift available.
The aims of the group are to assist all people living with diabetes in our area to live a better life by:
Providing them with information via guest speakers and medical professionals, helping them to understand diabetes more and meet others with the condition;
Provide a social forum via coffee mornings, walks, visits to places of interest and quizzes;
Providing a Community Site and Blog and regular newsletters; and
As a member of Diabetes UK, be a conduit of current news, studies and research.
