Men-only cookery classes at Backwell School

Backwell School is inviting men to roll up their sleeves and come into the kitchen.
Age UK Somerset is running a six week men-only cookery course in the new year.
The fun and friendly classes are aimed and those who don't know a boiled egg from omelette.
Cookery teacher Sandra said: "These classes are for those with no experience or just a little and would like to practice somewhere with a bit of advice and guidance.
"We start with soup and move on to cakes and stews, spaghetti bolognese and we like to include your suggestions too."
The group meet on Tuesdays and the new classes start from January 24.
