Footlights Dance Academy

Footlights Dance Academy provides Modern and Jazz dance classes and also Cheer Fusion classes... with a difference!

Children are taught technique, style and placement but alongside this are encouraged to express their own individual style in a special section of each class.

In Cheer Fusion they experience a brand new mix of cheerleading, and modern and jazz dance.

All members from Primary Modern upwards have the opportunity to dance in two shows every year alongside Footlights Theatre Academy. They also have the option to study for ISTD Modern and Jazz exams. The ISTD (Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing) exams are internationally recognised as a mark of high quality teaching and dancing.

Our Dance Academy caters for all ages from just 18 months up to young adults.

All classes are fun and varied, nurturing talent and building confidence. The joy of performance is an essential part of every class and something that is often overlooked in larger, exam-focused dance schools. We believe that every single student deserves our very best attention and consequentially there is no preferential treatment within classes.
