Fans of the hit TV show Glee or Channel 5's Don't Stop Believing will be excited to hear that they have the opportunity to join a show choir just like the ones on these popular programmes.
Euphoria is a brand new show choir for young people all over the South West and is looking for new members. They already have several bookings, including a local theatre performance and an appearance at the Colston Hall in Bristol in December. The aim of Euphoria is to regularly perform up to date arrangements of popular music in theatre shows, concerts and competitions.
Euphoria show choir has been set up by singing teacher, writer and performer Rachel Walker, semi-finalist in the BBC's Choirgirl of the Year competition and finalist in two international songwriting contests. Rachel's experience extends across the country, both performing and writing songs for solo and ensemble. Her expert arrangements of popular songs will be complimented by professional choreography to give a visually and vocally exciting performance every time.
Euphoria is open to young people in school year 7 and above. Entry is by audition only, candidates must prepare a short solo of their choice with or without accompaniment and be prepared to perform other vocal and movement exercises given on the day. For more information and an application form email Rachel Walker rachel.conspirito@hotmail.co.uk
