Learn how to lay a hedge from start to finish at Lower Failand Organic Farm this February!
Hedgerows are a vital part of the British countryside, as both a field boundary and a valuable wildlife habitat. This three day course aims to introduce the practical skills of traditional hedgelaying management and how best this can be done to conserve the wildlife that rely on them. Join organic Farmer Mike Amos for an educational, active day out in the fresh air and learn how to lay a hedge from start to finish.
The three day course is held over three consecutive Sundays;
Sunday 2nd February 2014, 10.00am-2.00pm
Sunday 9th February 2014, 10.00am-2.00pm
Sunday 16th February 2014, 10.00am-2.00pm
Held at: Lower Failand Organic Farm, Sandy Lane, Failand, BS8 3SN.
Please note that this is hedgelaying course is for adults only. The cost of the three day course is £60 per person. Places are limited therefore we advise booking in advance.
