Bushido Warriors: Karate for 5, 6, 7 & 8 year olds

Backwell Karate will once again be running an 8 week introductory course for children aged 5-8 in January at Backwell Parish Hall.

The Backwell Karate Bushido Warriors beginners course is a great way to have fun and learn something new in an environment that's especially for your child's age. Over the eight weeks of the course, your child will learn the basics of Karate-Do, from bowing, to kicking, punching and also basic partner work.

Through regular training, students will improve their balance, posture, self awareness, self confidence and self esteem. Parents and teachers continually report on the improvement in the behaviour of children who train regularly.

In the final week, we will review what we've learnt over the previous weeks. Each child that completes the course will be named as a Backwell Karate Bushido Warrior and will receive a certificate of graduation.

The classes are 40 minutes long, from 5.50pm to 6.30pm on Friday evenings. The 8 week course is only £30 (or £45 with a Karate suit) and numbers will once again be strictly limited so that each child gets the most attention possible.
