Well, was we robbed or where we rubbish? One World Cup commentor said England fielded some talented individuals - what it didn't field was a team? The cheers when England scored its first goal could be heard throughout Nailsea ... the rest of the German game was just a deadly hush. Thanks to all the venues for giving Nailsea people lots of choice on where to watch the games and thanks to all the punters who voted in our favourite pub poll. Good luck to the Nailsea School pupils who journey to Germany tonight for an exchange visit and perhaps the natives won't gloat too much? Let us know...the next football game I will be watching will feature the Clevedon Town team picked by Nailsea former professional Micky Bell, their new manager - what about you?

Emma Bateman says: "At least Andy Murray is still in at Wimbledon! Come on the English can't be **** at everything!"
Keith Thomas said: “We was robbed +1.”
Ben Truscott said: “We was robbed and failed!”
Chris Hans Webster said: “We weren't rubbish, the Germans were good, and couldn't keep up.”
Tom Richens said: “Funny thing is Murray is Scottish!”
Emma Cook said: “Two English men are leading the F1 Championship.”
Vikki Jones said: “Oh well I'm sure they will now all go back to their multi million pound houses and now go on a very expensive holiday to get over it and re-evaluate the game!”
Alistair Lindsay said: “Footie ref should have gone to Specsavers.”
A sentiment we are sure Ellie Taylor (the face of Iceland who works in the opticians in the shopping precinct) would agree with.
And Nailsea School pupil Calum Butler posted en route from the coach: “Germany is gonna be a whole lot more fun now that we lost against them.”

Pity England team played the way Plymuth Argyle play. Whilst Plymuth are about to be relageted for being in administration England go on without penalty.
