Well, was we robbed or where we rubbish? One World Cup commentor said England fielded some talented individuals - what it didn't field was a team? The cheers when England scored its first goal could be heard throughout Nailsea ... the rest of the German game was just a deadly hush. Thanks to all the venues for giving Nailsea people lots of choice on where to watch the games and thanks to all the punters who voted in our favourite pub poll. Good luck to the Nailsea School pupils who journey to Germany tonight for an exchange visit and perhaps the natives won't gloat too much? Let us know...the next football game I will be watching will feature the Clevedon Town team picked by Nailsea former professional Micky Bell, their new manager - what about you?
