What makes you think that? I had some picture framed the other week and all seemed fine?

Drove past yesterday afternoon and they appeared to be emptying the shop out and some of the fixtures/fittings looked like they were for sale! All a bit peculiar and very sad if it has.

It is closing down. They had a sign in the window about a month ago saying that with great sadness they couldn't make ends meet anymore but the lady is still going to be selling her artwork online. Very sad

Oh! That is sad but if it give other shops more chance then okay. The Blue Room needs to get a framer then...it cost me more than £100 at Inside Art for three pictures to be framed. Will go for a walkabout tomorrow to see what is what. Heard The Glasshouse had asked for a variation to its licence but don't know what...hope it isn't 24/7 serving. Husband thinks its over25s only licence.

Amy from The Blue Room here, we will have the details a framer in the shop and will pass anyone over to him....wish we had the space for one in house, but our space is limited at the moment.

Disappointing but I can't say I'm all that surprised, as I went in quite a few times and they didn't have many of the items I needed in stock - perhaps if they'd widened their crafts selection they would have done better. The craft shop in St Nicks Market in Bristol is an excellent example of a large range of stock in a very small space.

It would be good if someone could set up a framing service in Nailsea. I had a cross stitch picture framed by Inside Art recently, only about 4 x 4 inch and it cost £25.00!! Mike...... who used to run a framing business from the Old Vicarage was much cheaper and did an excellent job, and he always seemed busy, he only stopped because he wanted to retire - so there is an opening here for somebody with those talents?

I miss a decent craft shop around here so have started a small online service selling Katia Knitting Wool and am based in Nailsea. If you are interested, take a look at my new website http://tinyurl.com/4k3mdqc and hopefully one day I will be able to open a craft shop in Nailsea.
