Weston General Hospital has a fault with its telephone lines. Communications spokesman Caroline Welch said: "An ongoing fault involving the BT exchange is currently restricting the number of available telephone lines into Weston General Hospital which is resulting in some callers experiencing delays on receiving an answer. We apologise for this inconvenience which is beyond our control and we will give an update on the expected duration of this problem as soon as possible. We would like to thank our callers for their patience and advise that all non-essential calls should be avoided if possible. Thank you." Nailsea People will advise when the fault is fixed.
