Nailsea baptist are hosting a concert with singer/songwriter Paul Field on Saturday 8th March at 'the centre.' Tickets are priced at £5 for the concert which starts at 7.45 pm and they are available from the church office on 01275859339. Paul has received an Ivor Novello Award from the British Academy of Songwriters and Composers and a Dove Award (and two nominations) from GMA in Nashville along with numerous other awards from ASCAP in the USA. He's worked on a self funded project called 'Cargo' (together with the Human rights organizations 'Anti Slavery International' and 'Stop the Traffik') using the history of the abolition of the Slave trade to focus on the extent of contemporary slavery and the many different aspects of the growth of human trafficking in todays Society. Paul will also be sharing in the morning service at Kingshill School at 10.30am on Sunday 9th March.
