Does anyone else think it strange that Tesco increased their petrol prices by 1p just 36 hours before the Budget lowered the price by a penny? Any minute now, someone will start a campaign to boycott them! Shame there seems to be a cartel here in Nailsea, too. By the time we have driven to a cheaper source, we've used up any savings we might have made. Talk about a captive audience!

Do you know what they are charging at Wraxall Service Station? I will cut and paste your comment and send to Tesco press office. Let's see what they have to say for themselves.

Tesco press officer Rory Stoves said: "We dropped our petrol prices in line with the budget announcement yesterday. No one knew the contents of the Chancellors budget prior to its announcement yesterday."

What does Tesco strapline say "Every Little Helps". When the price of fuel in Nailsea Tesco is on average 5p per litre more than say Sainsbury's or Morrisions (be it Weston SM or Bristol). Unacceptable. Every little helps to line their own pockets !!
