A WINTER wonderland complete with a giant igloo and Christmas market is launching at a popular North Somerset attraction.
Puxton Park in nearby Weston-super-Mare is offering visitors a taste of the Arctic this winter with the launch of its festive wonderland.
The adventure park has added a new extension to the park's reception to create a life-size igloo complete with snow to house its Christmas grotto.
Youngsters will be able to step inside the igloo, meet Puxton's reindeers and donkeys, as well as Father Christmas himself when the grotto opens on December 1.
Prior to this children and their siblings staying at Children's Hospice South West's Charlton Farm, will be invited to attend a VIP grotto preview event on November 30, at 6.30pm.
There will also be a FREE carol service on the same evening (November 30) from 7pm-9pm for the general public with a chance to meet Santa and Puxton's characters in Meadow's restaurant.
Head of Park, Susie Johnson, said: "We are so excited and we believe this will be our best ever Grotto.
"We really want youngsters to have a magical experience this Christmas and hope that our igloo and our carol service will bring a smile to their faces."
Puxton's winter wonderland will also include a Christmas market running every weekend from December 1 and December 21-24.
Tickets to the grotto cost £6 or the price is £10 for the grotto and park entry.
