Doyle dropped but a single point in his 5 qualifying races, that to Championship leader Troy Batchelor, which saw him progress to the 'A' Final along with Batchelor and Dakota North, where they were joined by Rohan Tungate who won the 'B' Final.
Somerset's other two representatives, Alex Davies and Josh Grajczonek finished on 7 and 5 points respectively, Davies once again just missing out on a place in the 'B' Final, while after a promising start that saw him take a race win and a 2nd place finish, Josh was then plague with mechanical problems that saw him retire from his next 2 races to put him out of contention of any further progress.
Doyle's 18 points for his 2nd place finish gave him a grand total of 43 points from the 3 rounds which placed him equal 4th overall, but was eventually placed 5th after a run-off with Rohan Tungate who also finished on the same points tally as Doyle, while Davies finished 7th on 34 points and Grajczonek 9th equal on 31 points.
