Roadworks start near Nailsea on Monday

Nailsea commuters should expect delays on route to the motorway on Monday as road works start in Failand.
North Somerset Council will be carrying out works on the B3128 Clevedon Road, Failand from Monday, November 28.
The carriageway will be resurfaced from the junction with Wraxall Hill to the junction with Portbury Lane - a distance of approxiamately 1km.
The scheme will cost £120,000 and the works will last one week.
This is part of the continuing programme of capital investment in the highway infrastructure,
Working will be restricted to daytime off-peak hours 9.30am- 3.30pm to avoid excessive queues at commuter times.
The works will be carried out by Balfour Beatty Infrastructure Service on behalf of the council.
