Staff and the rabbit at the family farm attraction outside Weston-super-Mare were left shell shocked when they discovered the chocolate eggs waiting on their doorstep.
Head of Park Susie Johnson said the attraction's rabbit must now work around the clock in order to hide all of the eggs around the park in time for Easter.
She said: "We were left absolutely shell shocked when we arrived for work to see sacks full of eggs waiting on the doorstep.
"We have no idea where the eggs came from but they have been gratefully received.
"Ruxton Rabbit now faces a busy few days ahead trying to find hiding places for all the chocolate eggs before the children arrive this Easter."
Aside from the massive Easter Egg hunt, Puxton will be staging a series of Easter themed activities until April 7.
These include an Easter Bonnet parade, bunny face painting, as well as cuddles with Puxton's own bunny rabbits and a meet and greet with Ruxton Rabbit.
The park will also be encouraging visitors to bring an Easter egg with them during their visit to donate to its annual Easter egg appeal for unwell children in the region.
These eggs will be delivered to children and their siblings staying at Children's Hospice South West base at Charlton Farm, Wraxall and to children's wards at local hospitals.
Susie added: "Last year we were overwhelmed with the sheer volume of Easter eggs donated to our appeal and we hope that it will be equally supported this year bringing smiles to the faces of poorly children."
