Crown Glass Shopping Centre went to the dogs this week – and to the cats, rabbits and any other pets local owners wanted to bring along to a free Pet Event at Nailsea.

The precint centre teamed up with Watkins and Tasker Veterinary Group to offer free expert advice, checks and pampering.
The afternoon pop-up pet parlour at Colliers Walk gave pet owners the opportunity for their animals to get free weight checks, health advice and even a free dog massage.
And before you start scratching top tips on fleas, worming and diet as well as micro-chipping was available.
The dog massages are said to be ideal for pooches suffering from arthritis or recovering from surgery.
Crown Glass Shopping Centre James Lucas said: "This was our first pet event and is part of a programme of events for the people (and domestic animals) of Nailsea to enjoy."
