Is Nailsea the most law-abiding town in North Somerset?

Exciting month as two people from North Somerset got fined for allowing their dog to poo in public places and for failing to clear up the mess and another for fly-tipping in the countryside.

But if that's the worse crime we are doing really well.

It is very difficult to compare like with like but crime statistics for North Somerset in September (the latest available) show the most law-abiding place in the the district to be Nailsea.

However, not all the towns have villages and settlements which locals would consider to be an integral part of their community included and the statistic for Weston-super-Mare is the central area and not appear to include the Bournville/Coronation/Oldmixon or The Potteries.

Also a flat look at statistics doesn't take into consideration the age and employment levels of those living in the area which also have a bearing on crime.

Anyway for what it is worth here is what I gleamed from the stats.
