The exotic tradition display which mimics the swishing and swirling of Salome's colourful dance of the seven veils was staged at Prince's Hall.
Egyptain bellydancing teacher Saeeda Jameel organised the event as a tribute to her elderly mother Alma who died in 2011.
The aim of the evening was to raise money and awareness of the Charcot-Marie-Tooth Disease which supports sufferers like Alma.
Also known as motor and sensory neuropathy the charity promoted reseach and offers assistance and support to people with CMT.
Saeeda said: "It was a fabulous evening of dancing, colour and joy.
"We had more than 220 people in the audience along with professional photographers, professional lighting, bellydance costumer Souk and Middle Eastern food.
"Hairdressers from SP Hair Company at Nailsea kindly gave up their free time to style the performers hair and we all looked very glamorous.
"We also had a raffle and the star prize of a full day of pampering and treatment was donated by Beauty Time at Cleeve which was a very generous gift indeed.
"In total we raised £850 for my mum's charity, CMT United Kingdom.
"Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the show - the audience and performers alike.
"It really was a true celebration of the dance and the dancers and it was a wonderful tribute to my mum - she would have been very proud.
"Many described the night as 'amazing', 'brilliant', 'uplifting', 'professional' and 'fantastic'.
"The show was almost a year in the making but all the hard work and effort paid off as it was a resounding success - thank you everyone."
Saeeda holds belly-dancing classes in Nailsea, and Clevedon from beginners to advanced level.
