Monday morning walk in Nailsea and nearby

Let's hope the snow stays away as people in Nailsea are hoping to go walking on Monday morning.

Walking for Health in North Somerset  is a North Somerset Council initiiative which invites people to join an organised walk that takes you somewhere new. 

On Monday, February 6, the following wlaks have been organised and new faces are welcome:

Nailsea - Monday, February 6 

The Nailsea group meets at Scotch Horn Leisure Centre, Brockway. The walk sets off at 11am. Choose from a short walk of 30 minutes or a longer walk of about an hour. For more information on the Nailsea group call walk leader and town councillor John Wilson on 01275 852942.  

Portishead - Monday, February 6 

The Portishead group travels to Clevedon. The walk leaves at 11am and lasts about an hour. For more information on the Portishead group call walk leader Anne Brain on 01275 374 867.  

Weston-super-Mare - Monday, February 6 

The Weston group meets opposite Matalan. The walk sets off at 2pm and lasts about an hour.

Clevedon - Tuesday, February 7 

The Clevedon group meets at the Band Stand, Elton Road. The walk sets off at 10.30am and lasts about an hour. For more information about the Clevedon group call walk leader Gay Maxwell on 01275 875 316.
