Local cricket club bowled over by support from leading health club

The region's leading health club and spa is showing its support for Claverham Cricket Club by sponsoring the club's kit.

theclub, at DoubleTree by Hilton, Cadbury House in Congresbury has backed the cricket club which plays just down the road from the award-winning venue in the ECB West of England Premier League, Bristol and North Somerset Division.

Renowned for supporting local sports clubs and community initiatives, this latest agreement will not only help the cricket club and players aspire to compete at the highest level but also nurture local talent and youngsters to take up the game.

Jason Eaton, manager at theclub said: "We love getting involved in the local community and sponsoring nearby organisations is the perfect way to show our support. Claverham Cricket Club has a fantastic set up and we're delighted to help out.

"The number of players involved is amazing and forms an integral part of the local community. Without it Claverham and the surrounding area would lose a vital facility and is why it's important for businesses like ours to get involved."
