Rainbow Run for CHSW near Nailsea

Children's Hospice South West is set to brighten up Clifton Downs with an explosion of colour for the UK's first ever Rainbow Run.

The charity run with fun is on Sunday, May 19, and people can sign up now.
The CHSW Rainbow Run will be the first 5K in the UK where participants start in a pristine white T-shirt and end it covered in the colours of the rainbow and a huge smile on their face!
Participants will pass through five rainbow stations on the course where they will be showered with different coloured powder paints.
The powder paints are 100 per cent natural and safe.
CHSW head of fundraising Karen Edgington said: "The event is all about having fun.
"It's not about speed or fitness; it's about celebration, getting involved in a global phenomenon and raising a smile for Charlton Farm at Wraxall."
Similar 'paint race' events have taken the US and Australia by storm, attracting sell-out crowds of up to 30,000 participants.

CHSW was set up by chief executive Eddie Farwell and his late wife Jill who had two life-limited children.
It is the only organisation in the south west providing hospice care to the children and support for their families.
