Jason has also made the finals of the Bath Chronicle 2013 sports awards.
His profile reads: "The highly-rated keeper impressed during his first season with Bath City, ousting Wales international Glyn Garner from the number one shirt before being named player of the year."
Jason, aged 24, who arrived from Clevedon Town last summer was the first player to commit to the Mayday Trust Park club for 2013-14.
He said: "I am very pleased to be signing again for Bath City.
"I feel I have had a decent season so want to see that continuing into next season.
"I feel the club can achieve great success over the next few seasons and am pleased that it has shown faith in me to be part of that success.
"We have a great bunch of lads at the moment, it would be good to keep as many as possible together and give it a really good go."
Chairman Manda Rigby said: "Since giving Jason his chance earlier this season, he has repaid the faith put in him.
"We are very pleased he has committed to us for next season and hope that he develops his potential even further."
Jason was the much prized goalkeeper for Nailsea Town before moving to Clevedon Town in 2010.
The youngster was born in Yorkshire and moved to Nailsea when he was five and immediately began playing with Nailsea Junior Football Club.
He juggles full time work for E-Car insurance, an online insurance company based at Severn Bridge, Aust, with life as a semi professional footballer.
As a junior he had spells with both Bristol City and Bristol Rovers before joining Nailsea Town aged 15.
Here he rapidly established himself in the first team and was then made captain.
Recruited by Nailsea man and former professional footballer Micky Bell who is manager of Clevedon, Jason joined The Seasiders two years ago.
He went on to captain the side culminating in Clevedon's first ever Red Insure Southern League Cup victory in the final against Banbury in April last year.
Dad Steve said: "His ambition has always been to play professional football."
Jason Mellor was a double winner at Bath City's end of season presentation evening at Mayday Trust Park.
The keeper picked up the supporters' player of the season as well as the players player of the season, recognising his excellent performances during the 2012-13 season.
He also picked up the most 'man of the match' awards despite only taking over as the number one keeper in late November.
Rumours of a move to Millwall FC have also been circulating.
