Visitors to Nailsea town centre around Halloween can expect a host of spooky fun, with two competitions being lined up for local youngsters.
From Saturday October 26 to Thursday October 31 a free Trick or Treat Trail will be in place, with prizes for people able to spot the spooky picture in each of eight retailers in Crown Glass Shopping Centre and Nailsea High Street.
Anyone finding all eight pictures can collect a spooky sweet treat from any participating shop. Entry forms will be in each of the stores and completed forms can be handed in and entered into a grand prize draw.
Participating stores are Butterfly Travel, Ewe Knit 20, The Blue Room, Partysmartys, JT Shoes, Room by Roome, Break & British Heart Foundation.
And youngsters who have carved a pumpkin at home can bring their Halloween handiwork to Somerset Square between 1pm and by 2pm on Wednesday October 30. Centre administrator Kate Cole said: "Entries will be judged by Win a Shop store owners Fran Hunt from Partysmartys and Emily Rickard from Ewe-Knit 20 and the winner announced at 2.30pm on the day.
"There will be two age groups – up to 7 and 8-13 years old, with prizes for winners and runner up in each age group, courtesy of 99p, Waitrose and Partysmartys."
Partysmartys will display the winners in their window.
