FUNDRAISERS are being urged to tee off at a charity golf day in Congresbury.
The event, being organised by the Rotary Club of Nailsea and Backwell, is on July 4 at Mendip Spring Golf Club. The day will raise money for new equipment for Bristol's St Michael's Hospital Special Care Baby Unit.
Teams of four are invited to enter at a cost of £160 per team. The competition includes an 18-hole Stableford, a twos competition and challenges to make the straightest drive and land a tee shot nearest the pin. Coffee will be served on arrival and there will be a buffet meal.
There will be a prize for the best ladies' team – and tickets will be on sale for the Rotary charity draw.
A Rotary spokesman said: "Many teams have entered but there is still room for a few more. We want to raise lots of cash for the special care baby unit."
Entry forms are available from Howard Walton. E-mail him at firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone 01275 463405.
