Ulster band Craobh Rua plays Nailsea Folk Club on Friday, November 1.

This four-part Belfast based band steeped in Irish traditional music has been giving concert and festival performances in the US, Canada, Australia, Germany, Austria, Italy, Holland, Belgium Switzerland, Poland, Slovenia, Denmark, Norway, England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland.
And now it's Nailsea's turn at 8pm at the Tithe Barn.
Craobh Rua has released five albums to date and appeared on a number of compilation albums.
Their current offering being aptly entitled If Ida Been Here Ida Been There.
With Brian Connolly on banjo and mandolin; Michael Cassidy on the fiddle; Desy McCabe on the uilleann pipes and tin whistle and to complete the line-up Jim Rainey on guitar and vocals this promises to be Celtric treat with influences of Breton fest noz music, blues, bluegrass and gypsy swing.
