- The Nailsea Uganda Water Project a charity which has teamed up with Tearfund is tasked to raise £30,000 for three years to bring clean water to an impoverished part of Africa. It is currently looking for approximately 20 people from the wider caring community to be sponsored to carry Little Jerry - a yellow painted plastic milk container filled with either one, two or three litres - everywhere they go for a week from Monday to Sunday, November 19-25. The Rev Joylon Trickey, of Holy Trinity, has already signed up for the feat.
