In that time it has recycled 50,000 books and raised approximately £25,000 for many local and national charities.
The Rotarians are grateful for the continuing support of the community who has both bought and donated reading matter.
Rotarian Roger Smith said: "A good quality, well written paperback for 50p must be the world's best value buy and all the purchase price is donated to good causes."
The next bookstall is outside Waitrose supermarket at Nailsea on Saturday, March 23, from 8.30am-3.30pm.
Anyone with any books to donate is asked to contact Roger on 01275 854076
- In January the club held its Late. Late Christmas Party at Long Ashton Golf Club. It was an opportunity to say 'thank you' to partners for their supported throughout the year. Entertainment was provided by the events committee who put on a spirited performance of the musical Oliver! The all-male cast included Roger who played Nancy in full drag.
