Balloon Fiesta fireworks to be the best ever

A South West firework company has promised that this year's display at the Bristol Balloon Fiesta will be the best in years after putting efforts in to make it extra special.

 

Skyburst the Firework Co. have been firing the popular display for the past 15 years but say this year's performance will be spectacular.

 

Managing Director Alan Christie said: "The fireworks at the 2012 Balloon Fiesta are going to be magnificent. Organisers have agreed to up the budget for the first time in 15 years and we have agreed to match what they put in, pound-for-pound, meaning we are able to use some of the best products and technology on the market.

 

"Historically the fireworks at the festival have been a real talking point and one of the main attractions at the event. We are hoping to get back to that kind of buzz this year and we really hope the crowds enjoy what we have put together."

 

Skyburst will be closing the first day of festivities after the balloon glow on Thursday 9 August with a 'Best of British' themed display. Set to classic British music the show will feature lots of red, white and blue fireworks and impressive smiley face displays.

 

Saturday 11 August will be party night; the display will be timed to fun songs guaranteed to get people on their feet and Skyburst is planning a spectacular finish to completely light up the sky.

 

Alan said: "As always my team is working for nothing so we can pour everything into the planning and implementation of the show. We like to help out the big Bristol displays as much as possible because there aren't many left any more and we want to keep the tradition alive.

 

"We perform displays up and down the country but myself and the team are really looking forward to putting on a Bristol show which means so much to the city."

 

Skyburst have over 30 years experience in professional firework displays. With bases in Upper Langford and Bedminster, the business recently created the Clifton Suspension Bridge display to mark the arrival of the Olympic Torch.
